Awesome hostel!

Liked: Awesome facilities and room. I enjoyed the evening pub quiz and morning yoga. Large shared kitchen and lounge spaces, super clean and comfortable private room. This was an excellent start to my New Zealand visit.
Disliked: Nothing

No parking availabile. Dirty, smelly...

Liked: The room looked good. We never actually stayed as I didn't do research that there wasn't parking availabile.
Disliked: There's no parking availabile and the hostel is in a dodgy location.Foyer was smelly with dirty bench seats.

Liked: The reception staff was very helpful. When I said I had an issue with my locker, he immediately came up with me to have a look and sort.
Disliked: One of the soap dispensers in the women's bathroom on level 1 was empty the whole afternoon

As good as expected

Liked: Very suitable for the purpose of accommodation
Disliked: Limited access to charge electronic devices

All encapsulating. It had everything...

Liked: Facilities were excellently maintained and very well thought out. It seemed the perfect place for a solo traveller.
Disliked: The only “issue” I had was that the sleeping pod would get a little hot some nights. But it’s a very small thing that was barely a problem
