Located by the National Museum this chic waterfront hotel offers views of the Old Town and Royal Palace. It offers a popular bistro-style restaurant and art exhibitions. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Lydmar Hotel's spacious rooms are individually decorated and have wooden floors. Many feature original stucco work wood beams and high windows. All have a TV mini-bar. The hotel restaurant serves European cuisine; everything from escargots to steak tartare to Sicilian fish. Liked: There is a DJ performance at the cafe at the entrance on Saturdays. You enter the hotel with a good energy. The breakfast is amazing, the food and the team is great

We had a magnificent stay...

Liked: Lydmar Hotel is perfectly located - close top the old town, opposite the palace, at the terminal for many ferries etc. The staff were exceptional - from the wonderful greeting when we arrived around 1.00am, to all of the reception and restaurant staff, to the manager who greeted us on a number of occassions. The atmosphere was informal, relaxed and inviting. Our room was great, with large windows, plenty of room space and a walk-in-robe for our luggage/clothes.
