Liked: Very clean. Well insulated…very quiet. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Loved the deep bathtub. Totally satisfied and well rested

A budget traveller's dream

Liked: Quiet, inexpensive, clean and decent-sized modernized room on ground floor in small unassuming hotel -- handy location on Route 26 in NW corner of town near multiple restaurants and a shopping center -- nice proprietors

Liked: The location was good and central. The prices were pretty fair. Free coffee in the morning.
Disliked: I was disappointed. I booked with booking.com and was charged from them and then the hotel also charged me. I had to deal with this on my trip and only because I kept insisting and pushing do I believe it was dealt with. A lot of time and energy on my end calling back and forth and also upon checking out being on hold with booking.com for over an hour and only after a lot of persistence did I even get to speak to the manager of Luxury inn who eventually assured me I would get a refund and I would be sent me an email stating this. I did eventually get my money back and I’m not sure between the hotel and booking.com where the issue was but I was disappointed with how the staff handled it making it my problem completely - even though they use a third party like booking.com and I’m not sure how frequently this happens.

Basic budget motel

Liked: Front desk staff member was friendly and helpful. Beds were large and comfortable. Suite was clean. Easy access to downtown. Located on busy road but traffic noise was minimal.One of the lower cost budget motels in Collingwood.
Disliked: Room smelled like cigarette smoke although it was a non-smoking room.

Exceptional

Liked: Everything was great! Service was kind and welcoming, rooms were awesome and comfy, the WiFi never cut, and the AC gets nice and cold!!
Disliked: N/a it was great!
