The Spotlight on Luxor

Stay Iconic on the Strip at Luxor

Modern comfort meets ancient Egyptian flair at the Luxor, one of the most recognizable hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Known for its dramatic pyramid design and beam of light visible from miles away, this hotel offers a unique Vegas experience with a laid-back vibe. Inside, you'll find everything from a full casino to a luxurious spa, four seasonal pools, and live entertainment just steps from your room.

Whether you're in town for a concert, a weekend getaway, or a night out with friends, Luxor delivers easy access to top venues and endless post-show options.

Why Concert-goers love it

Located right on the Strip, Luxor puts you close to some of Las Vegas' biggest concert venues—many within walking distance or a short ride away. With live shows and entertainment on-site, you don’t even have to leave the building to catch a great performance. The hotel’s spacious rooms, especially the Tower Premier Rooms, offer ample charging stations for your devices and a relaxing space to unwind post-show. Late-night return? No problem—Luxor has you covered with 24/7 casino action and nearby transit access.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a lively base with entertainment built-in
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list performance
  • Couples making a weekend of it with spa time and shows
  • Fans needing a quieter post-concert recovery—ask for a room in the Tower for a more relaxed atmosphere
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want Strip access without high-end price tags

Food and Drink Options

From steakhouse dinners to casual deli snacks, Luxor offers several on-site dining options to fuel your night. Late-night cravings? The café and deli stay open late, and room service is available for a more private after-party. Breakfast is easy to grab the next morning, even if you sleep in—perfect after a long night singing along.

Nightlife Options

You won’t have to go far for nightlife. Enjoy live entertainment right at the hotel, or venture just steps away to nearby bars, clubs, and lounges on the Strip. The on-site bars serve up classic cocktails and local craft drinks, ideal for a pre-show toast or a post-concert cool-down.

What People Say

Guests love the fun atmosphere, unique architecture, and convenient location near top attractions and venues. Reviews frequently mention the spacious rooms and easy check-in process. Many travelers say it's a great value for being right in the heart of the action.

Areas for Improvement

While the pyramid rooms are iconic, some guests mention they're starting to feel a bit dated—if that’s a concern, go for a Tower Premier Room for a more modern vibe. Also, Wi-Fi and resort fees can add up, so plan accordingly.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want iconic vibes, Strip-side access, and all the entertainment Las Vegas can offer in one place, Luxor is a standout choice.

Liked: The pyramid is iconic
Disliked: The Guest Services department has been dissolved so you have to contact the front desk for everything. But the front desk is always busy so you either have to call from your room and be stuck there until they answer (I finally hung up after 45 min), or go down to the check-in line where you will stand in line for just as long. Our room was filthy (vomit in the carpet that hadn’t been cleaned up) and a shower that wouldn’t drain - 3” of standing water. We found out that the room we were put in was being taken out of availability the very next day because of the problems with it. But somehow they thought it would be okay for us? The hotel was NOT busy or full.

Liked: I really liked how quiet it was, clean & how friendly & helpful the staff was. I wish the lady at the counter would have told me that the elevator was behind the wall of the first elevator that we walked up to when we got to it. If it wasn't for a customerwalking up to the first elevator which only went up to the fifth floor, & let us know to go behind the wall then we would have had to walk all the way up to the front counter to ask where the correct elevator was located.
Disliked: I did not like the way the sales people came to me & tried to sell me their products. They did not care that I told them I was not interested in their product. The two guys kept at me until I sat in their chair. I still told them no, it felt borderline harassment. The product they were trying to sell me was a facial product for over $400. & ending up trying to sell it to me for around $150.( What a scam from $400. to $150. in a matter of minutes)

Short and convenient.

Liked: The hotel was centrally located. The hotel was near a bunch of restaurants and the strip of course. It was well priced. Very accommodating for a short stay. Only stay in the towers. These are the newer rooms.
Disliked: The room was clean to the standard of the hotel. There was a ton of hair in the tub and shower. Thank god i brought my own cleaning supplies because it looked it was skipped completely. Long strand of hair covered the wall once the shower was turned on. Additionally, housekeeping came in the room without knock because the DND sign had fell off while open the door. Parking was far from the towers and the lot was packed if you were not early to the room.
