Luxor Bastille Hotel

Passable for the price!

Liked: Room was fine, though nothing more :)
Disliked: Stairwell was dated and a bit dirty, it was mostly clean but not amazingly so.. aircon didn’t really seem to work so I was quite warm overnight

Ok stay, can't really complain...

Liked: Location is good, close to the plaza and transportation options.
Disliked: Not perfectly clean, very small and narrow stars and elevator. It should be noted that air conditioning in the room is not free, they charge 50 euros for the remote control.

Awful. Complaining

Liked: Gave us hot water, although not boiled
Disliked: Long list starting with noisy aircon loud buzzing through the night. Water dripping into the air con -risk of fire, Vey dangerous. Slide door to toilet broken No privacy. Fire alarm went off at 4am no apologies. Shower head not working. Fridge not working. Staff laughed at my complaint ,said it was a French Hotel. Complained in the morning and asked Hotel for full refund. Booking com informed. Reception said they gave me the room knowing it was noisy and in poor condition.

Convenient and clean

Liked: Great loacation close to Gare de Lyon and Bastille. It is a Parisian 2 Star hotel so whilst it is good and clean and well located for what it is do not expect luxury.

How to live without comfort

Disliked: The shower was mold, the toilet paper has been use and no replace ( 3 leaves ), no shower gel and the shower tubes was broken what a nice place ! I take my shower with a glass 🥃
