A perfect break in an...

Liked: All you would expect from a stay in a beautiful old country hotel and more . Excellent staff , food , room and facilities , the hotel was perfect !

Exceptional

Lutrell Hotel and Castle.

Liked: The building was great. So old and full of charm. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was well run with very efficient staff. Food was good with choi ces and specials on the menu. The rooms were quiet and warm with tea making facilities and good bathrooms.
Disliked: The hotel does not have a car park. There is a pay and display a few minutes walk away. There was no suggestion of a voucher to cover the cost which was £6.00 per day.

A characterful, uplifting, happy place...

Liked: The Luttrell Arms is a 'Medieval' style building in an ancient town. Its' character is carried through into the ambience of the public rooms, the bar, lounge and restaurant which are wonderfully decorated and furnished. The staff are welcoming, happy, smiling people and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and the wine waiter was very helpful in providing advice, and a tasting to ensure we would enjoy his recommendation, which we did! We also enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and post dinner drinks in the lounge and reluctantly said goodnight to the staff following a delightful evening.
Disliked: The weather! On a fine weather day the garden and outdoor spaces look very inviting.

Brilliant in everyway. We will...

Liked: We loved everything about the hotel. The little lounges scattered around the place, the bar, the restaurant, the staff and the location.
Disliked: There was nothing we did not like - other than the weather. There were lots of games to play and nooks to sit and read in so nothing to dislike!Excellent in every respect. We will be back.

Liked: Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff
Disliked: Problem with shower, advised staff but problem not resolved during our stay. Furniture in the bar not comfortable and showing its age.

A lovely hotel but food...

Liked: Love this hotel and the staff are greatVery high standard of cleanliness very dog friendly rooms are very comfortable and well eland are value for money Lovely well kept garden which leads through to a great dog walk in adjacent field perfect for dogs
Disliked: The food was a bit disappointing fish overdone at evening meal poached eggs rock hard at breakfast One of our evening meals was forgotten so me and my husband ending up eating our meals separately and it was our wedding anniversary so a bit of a let down Staff were very apologetic and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine

Absolutely amazing staff and beautiful...

Liked: The staff were incrediblely friendly and very caring towards our dog. The rooms were very clean and the rooms was in good condition. The breakfast each morning was cooked to perfection. There was also lots of good cold options.
