Luton Hoo Hotel Golf and Spa

We loved it much. Suits...

Liked: The perfect location, the place with a great history and lots of historical artefacts. Fine dining. Excellent breakfast, restaurant and service. We enjoyed it much. Celebrating our dating anniversary. A pool and a spa were just for two of us. Looking forward to visiting again after reconstruction.
Disliked: A spa/pool zone was not maintained and clean as usual. There were no shampoo/lotion/conditioner in the showers and unpleasant smell in a steam room (usually it is fir tree aroma). One of the sauna / saunette rooms didn’t work.

Liked: Good amazing, good was excellent and friendly and helpful staff. An amazing and relaxing short break
Disliked: Would have been nice to take advantage of the Spa massages but extremely booked up. Maybe more staff required

Relaxing, good food and beautiful...

Liked: Evening meal was lovely, although we did have to wait a long time for plates to be removed and to be asked if we need anything else. Breakfast was delightful, full of choice and very good.
Disliked: We did expect the pool to be in the hotel not having to walk 5 minutes away, so we didn’t use this facility which was a shame

Very good

Liked: The hotel, spa and grounds were lovely.
Disliked: Difficult to find, my sat nav got very confused taking us to closed gated locations due to half the estate now being in private hands. The absence of certain little things stops the experience from being an excellent one.

A Lovely Stay

Liked: The room was huge with everything we needed including functioning air conditioning. There was a patio area with a table and chairs. The bed was large and comfortable . We had read some terrible reviews but we enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive and friendly, the grounds were lovely and the pool was large and clean.
Disliked: The hotel is closing next month for refurbishment. It does need updating but that did not detract from our stay.

Disliked: it s run down and the night we stayed there s no ac working and they didn't tell us until we get to the room and the way to the room was complicated and ups and down with loads of baggages wasn't an ideal and no one helped you.. I complaint they said they can't do anything about it. so I left the next day
