Sam, Leeds, visiting Manchester Academy

We stayed as we were going to a concert at the Manchester Academy which was only a 20 minute walk! Very close to curry mile so location great. A good job it was just a bed for the night!

Liked: Location.
Disliked: The shower was dated; no hot water even at 4pm; felt glum and depressing; disappointed to say the least!

Great friendly value hotel in...

Liked: A great hotel on a quiet road, close to Manchester’s curry mile. Free on site parking, lovely continental breakfast and helpful staff. The rooms have almost everything you need for your stay. There is an attractive courtyard with a fountain that is a great quiet place to sit and read or chat with friends.
Disliked: Could do with some decoration and a small fridge in the room,

Great basic accommodation that has...

Liked: I regularly stay here when visiting Manchester, usually for live music events. It is about 30 minutes bus ride from city centre but has so many choices of bus links to different areas, even the Manchester airport bus stops near. They are parks and local shops a short walk away. Luther King House staff are friendly and professional. There is buffet breakfast. Iron and ironing board is available if you need it. Plus as no air conditioners , there were a number of mini fans left out if you needed one for your room. Great to have the option of free car parking space. Although on this occasion I used trains and buses for my journey from london.
Disliked: Would have liked to be have more coffee and milk available in the room, but I am sure if I asked at reception it would have been supplied.
