BEST UCLA stay!

Liked: Perfect stay for a short trip with my son studying in UCLA, exploring campus was easy and getting around the buildings was very practical. What I do need to say is that is the best hotel restaurant i have been in!....the food is amazing everything fresh, healthy menu cooked with the best ingredients and the service was very kind and nice, and above all they have a NO GRATUITY POLICY for the service which makes it top, because every time we travel to USA the tips and gratuities are becoming every day more annoying and absurd sometimes. The people in general was very nice and well educated.

Disappointing.

Liked: Nice public facilities, including outdoor restaurant space. Polite staff, although not particularly accommodating,
Disliked: The bed in the room was terribly uncomfortable. Front desk staff would not move me to a different room for my second night, claiming that bedding in all rooms were of equivalent age, comfort, and condition. The room also had a very unpleasant chlorine-like smell that persisted over the two days I was there.

Excellent hotel, great value

Liked: Location in the middle of the UCLA campus was perfect for us. The campus is pretty and safe and the hotel is only a short walk to the restaurants in Westwood Village. Hotel itself is very pretty, modern, and clean. Beds were comfortable. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Plateia restaurant was excellent, definitely recommend trying it. The hotel is a "no tips" establishment, which was refreshing.
