Overall a lovely place to stay, very cosy, comfortable and relaxing....

Liked: A real castle! Very comfortable and cosy and the staff and my room were lovely!
Disliked: I wish that the restaurant had been opened at all times and that the bar had more variety in respect of special diets. For non-drivers it was a very long walk to the road, to the bus stop - a little lift option would have been lovely as I hurt my ankles with walking backwards and forward up that slope!

Liked: Everything about our stay was exceptional, it is a beautiful building and gorgeous gardens too. The staff are amazing and friendly and Lady Poppet is lovely :).We stayed in a castle room which was lovely and quirky. The food was lovely too, we had breakfast which is well worth having and a lovely meal in the restaurant one evening too.

Liked: Amazing location The reception was very atmospheric. All the staff were great and very helpful. We even got a card for our anniversary.
Disliked: The price for a drink there was a bit expensive.
