Overall a lovely place to stay, very cosy, comfortable and relaxing....

Liked: A real castle! Very comfortable and cosy and the staff and my room were lovely!
Disliked: I wish that the restaurant had been opened at all times and that the bar had more variety in respect of special diets. For non-drivers it was a very long walk to the road, to the bus stop - a little lift option would have been lovely as I hurt my ankles with walking backwards and forward up that slope!

Liked: Location is good , staff are friendly .Good parking facilities.
Disliked: Was put into an outside room opposite the hotel across the courtyard. I rang over to reception regarding the heating in the room which the guy did bring me an oil filled radiator, because the heating works centrally from a time clock not thermostats.Couldnt get a shower this morning due to the heating time clock and the cold draft from the old iron windows which were in this room which have no seals and the wind was blowing straight through.

We would go again, recommend...
