Beautiful comfortable hotel

Liked: Beautiful location, comfortable room with gorgeous view as advertised. Warm welcome from Alison and lovely lounge and restaurant.
Disliked: The young waiting and bar staff were doing their best but there were issues with our evening meal, coffees and breakfast due to training needs. The Hotel were very apologetic and took money off our meal but we were disappointed as it was our 30th anniversary dinner and we were expecting perfection.

Beautiful location

Liked: The hotel is situated in a very quiet, picturesque village. We had a lovely spacious room with a super king bed. The bathroom had a good bath with a shower which was much appreciated after a long walk. The staff were all very professional and polite.
Disliked: The price of the food in the restaurant was extremely high for the quality of the food on offer.

Peaceful and great food.

Liked: What a location, so peaceful, the room was lovely (shame about the concrete pump station but that isn't something the hotel can do anything about, maybe decorate a bit) Views are lovely, service brilliant and the quietness made it easy to sleep apart from the very loud snoring person below our room.
Disliked: Just needs a little bit of a touch up in places due to the salt air

Superb

Liked: Wonderful location, right next to a tiny harbour. Well-appointed. Friendly staff. Good food.
Disliked: The double room was very small and difficult to accommodate our dog, although we had booked a dog friendly room. No snacks available in the bar between set meal times. The bin in our room had not been emptied, although this was rectified quickly. The carpet in the room was stained.

Exceptional

Amazing Hotel in the best...

Liked: Amazing location. Fabulous staff. Breakfast was brilliant, freshly cooked to order and cooked well. Staff made it such an enjoyable stay.
Disliked: Room was a bit small but to be expected in an old property. Food in restaurant was extremely expensive even for Cornwall

A comfortable short break.

Liked: Food was excellent with good choice. Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful and the whole hotel had a happy atmosphere.
Disliked: There was nothing we disliked.
