Liked: Close to the festival grounds. The basic rooms are small and clean.There is a sercure, enclosed parking lot.
Disliked: Small rooms, no fridge, very loud AC

great location but absolutely not...

Liked: great location, secure, free parking, free coffee and bottled water, bar available.
Disliked: The venue has a ridiculous glitch with their payment system. despite taking the full amount for our stay off my card on arrival (as pre-agreed), my card was then charged nightly as well every single morning. these transactions were pending, but it left us over $700 out of pocket until we left the hotel when these transactions were voided, which is inexcusable. The staff simply told us they couldn’t void the transactions any sooner, it was a glitch on their part, and their suggestion to solve the issue was that I block my card to stop it from happening. I really can’t understand how blocking my card with my money on it while on an overseas holiday is considered a solution. They also took the security deposit a second time from the card. I have been home over two weeks and only just received this back. All in all the experience with payment was so unbelievably stressful and left us severely short changed for our holiday, with staff who did next to nothing to assist. It’s also incredibly noisy within the hotel - the walls are paper thin. Could actually hear our neighbours snoring.

Great place and stay in...

Liked: Parking was exzellent. Room was in good condition. Clean and modern. Team and especially Frontdesk Yolanda was very friendly and helpful. We loved her. Great Coffee in the morning.Outside sitting with table and chairs was beautiful.Overall a great stay. We will come back.
Disliked: For a two week stay choose a bigger room.Cleaning every two days. Not only on request.Room is quiet as long there is no couple beside you having loud discussion and listening to London music. The younger staff is needing some Training, than they're all great. We loved the Team. Improvement needed when you' re arriving, to know how to unlock the door at the gate. Hotel should send the process how to get in. Other couples had the same Problem.

Rude staff, overpriced hotel.

Liked: The location is the only good thing about this place.
Disliked: The staff is terrible. The worst we ever had in Northern America. We stayed here for three nights and the rooms were nor cleaned once, not even after we asked for it repeatedly. The rooms are very small and noisy. The location is the only good thing about this place. The pricepoint is way too high for the quality of this inn.

Convenient hotel, so returned here

Liked: Convenient clean hotel, so stayed here again on way back (see my previous review). Microwave in lobby worked fine.

Convenient hotel when visiting with...

Liked: Clean hotel. Free parking inside a gate, but still conveniently located one block from the Canal street streetcar line. Really convenient to get to New Orleans Jazz fest and if you use a car. Microwave in lobby.
Disliked: Direct vicinity seems fine, but if you go further from Canal street the neighbourhood looks less tidy. Sometimes the hotel manager is out for a while, so you'd need to wait for check-in.

As we wanted to save...

Liked: I was in New Orleans for a conference, and what I really liked about the Lucky Inn was that it was close to the tram, which allowed to get into the city within about 20 minutes. Taking the tram is anyway one of the things one is supposed to do in New Orleans. So by living a little bit outside I was forced to do this tourist attraction;)There are two supermarkets very near by and the Waffle House is also Yummie.
Disliked: There was no room service. The tram is not really reliable (Schedule wise)The television only had YouTube and some Pay-TV, but no normal TV stations. So you could not even watch the news.

Liked: Modern rooms, really clean, nice staff
Disliked: You could hear everything in the hallway (pretty loud), the neighborhood looked questionable, if you want to check in and the staff isn't here you can't pass the gate to the hotel area and need to wait outside in the streets (happened to us), a fridge would be nice and tv channels (only youtube)
