A real break from work...

Liked: This is a lovely hotel overlooking the sea and close to the old part of Shanklin. Beautiful views from the breakfast area - and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic! Helpful staff and clean rooms made for a lovely long weekend stay. This is clearly a dog-friendly hotel but this was not intrusive for us (who did not have a dog)

A lovely short stay in...

Liked: Very friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, beautiful grounds and location. We were able to use the indoor swimming pool of the next door sister hotel. It was quiet and comfortable and the lounge area was a nice place to relax. We were given free access to Shanklin Chine and everywhere was good proximity to the hotel.
Disliked: Our room was next to the linen cupboard so it was a little noisy in the mornings but we aren’t early risers! Also the shower over the bath was a bit old and you couldn’t move the shower head. The indoor pool at the next door hotel we were allowed to use was small and packed with kids! You couldn’t swim for fitness if that’s what you are expecting.
