Liked: The hotel is beautifully maintained and well managed, staff are very professional and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic.The spa is the best I've ever been to and again beautifully managed and clean. The fact that you can have your drinks brought to you at the pools makes a huge difference because you can really relax then; the "glasses" are actually plastic, but it's quite hard to tell, they are good quality and don't affect the taste of the drink. I will most definitely be returning in the future.
Disliked: The room was lovely in how it was made up, but I found it quite dark and tucked away at the back of the hotel. I could also hear the people in the neighbouring room using the bathroom, which was a bit frustrating whilst I was trying to sleep, no doubt they felt the same if my husband and I were using ours. I would have thought there would be better insulation between the rooms.

Good but not good enough

Liked: Friendly, professional, attentive and helpful staff, well done. Great location and facilities. Comfortable beds. Nice decor and interiors.
Disliked: No slippers, no net curtains, no fresh fruit, there was always something that was omitted, which was a real pity. Net curtains - we either had the curtains open and everything was exposed to the outside world (there was a path right by our window), or the curtains were shut and the room was in the dark - why no net curtains to provide an in-between? Also, was not happy with the limited access to spa for kids. Altogether overpriced.

Liked: Comfortable bed, views, room setup, little yummy additions, much needed bath at the front of the bed (we had just got back from climbing scarfel pike), Prosecco on arrival was an added touch but I would have loved a coffee machine on the room and a proper coffee behind the bar or cafe. Bit frustrated. Other that, all great.
Disliked: Lack of real quality coffee
