Good stay to explore the...

Liked: The rooms are decorated really nice. Comfortable beds. Luxurious.
Disliked: This is a wedding location, with some rooms rented as B&B. Overall the atmosphere and decoration is that of a wedding venue. On our first night the had let the music in the central hall playing rather loud - we could hear it in our rooms even. Also shampoo etc was missing in the rooms - the next morning that was all immediatly fixed when we reported it. It is also a bit further from Lafayette 25 min ride to downtown) than I had expected.

Disliked: Temperature of the room we could not control. Shower was not very good.

A cozy retreat!

Liked: What a place to stay! A modern mansion remodeled to accommodate weddings and just 4 guest rooms. Had the pleasure of having the entire place for ourselves for one night! Gardens, main hall, a small kitchen - it’s all there. The room was lush and cozy. Great breakfast, served by wonderful and friendly staff! However, the bed was a bit small and way too soft for us.

A great stay near Avery...

Liked: The Louisiana Cajun Mansion is a lovely little B&B nestled in a neighborhood south of Lafayette Louisiana. The rooms are beautiful and with only four in the unit it made for a very quiet stay. There is a lovely sitting area and outdoor area. Rooms are also all on the first floor, so it made getting it in and out easy. Parking was behind a secure gate so I had no concerns, leaving things in my van.

A beautiful, peaceful place to stay, even in a thunderstorm! everything was perfect.

Liked: Such a beautiful house and gardens, we loved the dcor in our Atchafalaya room, staff were tremendous and nothing was too much bother. Very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast with access to beverages throughout the stay. Excellent information provided on where to eat and places to see. We were visiting the Tabasco Factory and Gardens and both the mansion and the Tabasco tour made the whole experience of the area memorable. A fantastic peaceful stop over in what has been a hectic fun packed trip along the Blues Trail just what we needed.
