Liked: It was a beautiful house. Staff were lovely. We stayed in Louisa lodge. Grounds were lovely
Disliked: Just a bit tired decor and bathroom could do with updating. The breakfast was not good value for money at £15. Bacon was hard, greasy slices of potato and dried up beans. There were cereals to choose from but only prunes or grapefruit to go with the Greek yogurt which was served from a big bowl. The breakfast room was in a conservatory which wasn’t ideal on the hottest day of the year. Overall I would sh we had gone out for breakfast because I’m sure we would have got a better one in town. More staff needed for such a large facility.

Liked: Beautiful property and in a great location.
Disliked: The breakfast was poor, Luke warm and tasteless. We didn’t appreciate the Knock on our door at 9am from the housekeeper on the morning we were checking out.

Liked: Breakfast great. Room very spacious. Old convent setting amazing. Glorious view of the sunset from the grounds
Disliked: Bit of a steep slope to lug cases to and from car.Room was under the roof and got a bit hot
