Liked: My husband and I enjoyed the spa facilities and also the beautiful scenery. we enjoyed a lovely early morning walk around the lake. The hotel was lovely. The staff were very pleasant and the food was very good.
Disliked: No complaints

It fulfilled my purpose

Liked: Excellent food but service in the main restaurant was abysmally slow and accompanied by a really annoying music tape on a loop

Disliked: Very poor staff quality and very poor quality of food….. Pleasant staff to speak to but very poor at their job. Our room was made up at 9pm on the second night of our stay. I had spoken to someone earlier in the day (3-4pm) asking for our room to be made up (we had been out all day golfing so loads of time for the room to be turned over). The next morning someone came to our room and treated us as if we were an inconvenience. Food was way overpriced for the quality and standard of service. The table wasn’t even wiped or cleared before desert. I was really shocked at the poor quality of customer service. There was a bad smell - lingering , musty. The setting is really beautiful but we were so disappointed in our experience here.

Disliked: Not 5 star, cracks in bathroom floor tiles, shower door didn’t close properly, socket in bedroom not working, no slippers available for spa until 2nd day if stay.
