Liked: Lobby area was nice.
Disliked: Building did not appear to being well maintained. Peeling exterior paint, noisy toilet issues, broken armoire door, etc. Also, housekeeping didn’t service our room until specifically asked. Restaurant was closed most days we were there so hotel wouldn’t honor free glass of wine as part of “resort fee “.

Highly recommend!

Liked: Close proximity to Diamond Head and the ocean/beach. Short walk to the action in Waikiki and yet removed enough for a peaceful stay. Great work out facilities. New restaurant. Amazing staff! Kevin and Katie were the best. Highly recommend.

Overall, in Waikiki the Lotus...

Liked: We just loved Melvin at the front desk. He was super in every way. We were sad he wasn’t working the day we checked out. Lots of nice touches: The welcome juice & towels, the complimentary slippers, the complimentary wine in the restaurant though we wished there was more than 1 choice of wine. The I -room coffee service is good and if you ask for more coffee they happily give it to you. We had great views of Diamond Head. It’s in Waikiki without being in the designer stores, hustle and bustle part of Waikiki.
Disliked: Not many restaurants within walking distance. The only reason we don’t give the room a 10 is that it seemed a bit dated and there was definitely something wrong with the A/C - no matter what temperature we put it on, the room was freezing.

Relaxing

Liked: Loved the room. Very clean and comfortable . Staff was very pleasant a d helpful. Restaurant food was excellent with a relaxing atmosphere
Disliked: Wish restaurant was open for breakfast

Perfect location

Liked: The location was perfect being relatively quiet but still within easy reach of central Waikiki and it's restaurants etc.
