It’s fine. Would I recommend...

Liked: Great location. Facilities fine.
Disliked: Not really family friendly. Bar not very relaxing for a drink. Got bumped off a table for a group of business men which was not warranted. Asked to check out at midday as opposed to 11am and was declined. When I went to pay my bill, additional room charges for drinks and internet which we did not use so I had to navigate that.

Great place to stay as...

Liked: Beautiful building (used in gossip girl) and great location. Central but quieter than Times Square.
Disliked: Price No family rooms for 5 so we had to get two rooms.

Very disappointing

Liked: Fantastic location & wonderful public rooms. We also attended a private magic show organised by the hotel which was truly fantastic
Disliked: We had stayed at the Lotte Palace before and had high expectations. However, when we arrived the hotel was absolutely rammed with conference delegates. For the first few days of our stay the public areas of the hotel were uncomfortably crowded & worse there was a lengthy queue to use the lifts to the room. On one occasion we waited 20 minutes just to head up to our room to collect an umbrella. Our rooms were tired and in need of investment, but it was the experience of the public areas which was the major disappointment. Nonetheless it was regrettable that when we asked to move rooms we were charged a significant amount for an upgrade. The crowds subsided by the weekend - but since we left on the Saturday that was little consolation. Had we known this in advance we would have booked somewhere else.

Overall hotel was great place...

Liked: Great location for doing things in Midtown. We saw two musicals and was great to be able to make the 15 minute walk. There are so many great restaurants close by as well
Disliked: Ask for a top or 20 floor and above room. One of our rooms was on the 11th floor and we looked at a wall. Our other room was on the 31st floor and it was a spectacular view of the church

Superb

Liked: Amazing location in uptown Manhattan. A 10 min walk away from central Park, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. Other locations are easily reached by subway. Very quaint and bougie looking lobby
Disliked: Double beds were on the small side. Perfect for couples, but you will have to get cozy if you are travelling with friends

Great location and comfortable.

Liked: Great location amd amenities.
Disliked: The beds needed an overhaul.
