amazing stay

Liked: location was perfect, right next to the cathedral, lots of bars and restaurants out the door of the hotel. perfect for kids with a larger room and extra bed and a cot. would absolutely return. The pool was also welcomed in the heat.
Disliked: more shade around the pool would have been nice.

Liked: Property was very centrally located which was perfect for getting around the city, very easy to walk too The restaurant and bar downstairs was closed and very empty so lacked atmosphere. The staff were lovely and would provide a drink from the bar if asked but they weren’t trained bar staff so it wasn’t the same experience we expected especially as the bar is marketed as a ‘sherry bar’ and the staff had no knowledge about the different sherrys. The pool area was very clean but in reality it is a lot smaller than what it looks like on the photos, there was no room to walk between the sun lounger and the pool edge which meant you were often knocked or interrupted by other guests when you were trying to relax by the pool. The pool bar was also great but quite disappointing as this didn’t do ‘pool snacks’ or lunch and only opened at 4
