A disappointing stay.

Liked: The location of the hotel is excellent -- right in the center of Los Gatos.
Disliked: When we arrived, we followed the "check in" signs which led us to a back parking lot. There was no one there to do a check-in, just some confusing signs. All the access gates were locked, so we couldn't get to the front desk without walking or driving back down through the parking lot. The morning we checked out, the reception area was locked with a sign saying that no one was on duty. No information about how to check out or where to leave the key. All very disorganized. Our room furnishings were shabby, and the bathroom was very small. I would not stay there again.

Definitely not 4-star, but good...

Liked: The location was very convenient and central in Los Gatos.
Disliked: The rooms were not cleaned at all during our 3-night stay - which was not mentioned to us beforehand. The pillows were very bad. The refrigerator in our room made so much noise we had to unplug it at night. The walls are very thin and you can hear the neighbors as if they are in the room with you.

Liked: Loved the unique look of the property. My room had a fabulous sleigh bed. The full kitchen was so nice. All in all, it felt quite luxurious.
Disliked: I had a problem with the keys. The gate key opened the door and the room key opened the gate. Another kind traveler helped me out.
