Perfect for what I needed...

Liked: Lovely property, friendly staff.Comfy bed
Disliked: Bathroom was a bit dated, suited the house also there wasn’t a mirror in the room with good lighting - bathroom one wasn’t that good to do my make up. Not that big a deal as it was all in fitting with the house.

Disliked: We arrived after an 120 mile car journey to find to our horror the place was very badly burnt out We returned home doing another 120 miles which took over 4 hours to get home because it was a bank holiday weekend

Lovely hotel

Liked: Lovely stay and massive rooms. The breakfast was really nice and the staff were very welcoming.

Lovely stately home to stay...

Liked: Beautiful country home in lovely surroundings, very peaceful, lovely views, room was huge, and a real bargain for the price! Breakfast was a little bit sparse, but overall a lovely Hotel for the money, and much nice to stay in than a bland chain hotel
Disliked: Breakfast was a little sparse, no real options, and a small portions, but it was tasty and well cooked and clean - Hotel overall is a little tired, but it's a stately home and these kind of properties are never like modern built hotels, they have atmosphere and character
