Liked: Everything about the place is beautiful. Lovely accommodation, food and wine. We will be back for a longer stay next time.

Nice, but the breakfast was...

Liked: The scenery and restaurant.
Disliked: It would have helped if there was a frying pan to cook the bacon and eggs. A bowl to put the ceral in. Normal English breakfast tea. Kitchen utensils etc needs to be reviewed.

Fantastic place to stay, would...

Liked: Fantastic location, with wonderful food and day spa all on site.
Disliked: Our particular unit was fairly standard and smallish and overlooked the car park, however the other villas/suites overlooking the vineyards looked more luxurious, larger and amazing.

Nice room, beautiful view for...

Liked: Nice location, close to town, restaurants, and only 30 minutes to wonderful friendly wineries. Beautiful view of the vines out the back window.
Disliked: Waited a long time at check-in and finally had to interrupt a woman who was chatting with a couple in the tasting room. Had a cold reception with instructions to head to town for dinner. The back door to the porch made a horrific shrieking noise when opening or closing, to the extent that we did not venture into the back, despite the wonderful weather. A worker said, 'yes, we all suffer from that. Keep complaining and we will keep telling the maintenance people to fix it'. Asked if we could check out at 10:30 instead of 10, and have an early, quick tasting but were bluntly dismissed. Check out was a key in the box, but perhaps no human contact was actually better in this situation.

Disliked: Rooms are quite dated. Location is not too bad but it still requires a decent drive to McLaren vale and any food options.

Luxurious fabulous stay, facilities, views...

Liked: The unit was luxurious with fantastic views. Balcony is designed to give privacy. Beds were comfortable and kitchenette was great with everything we needed. Breakfast supplied was outstanding. Staff very accommodating. Highly recommend. Very high standard in everything.
Disliked: Nothing
