Adequate.

Liked: Supper was very good. Service very good.
Disliked: In bedroom, only one window could be opened and that opened onto the main road below.. Very hot night so needed air flow without noise.

Forgettable never again nice green...

Disliked: Climbing the stairs with no warning during the booking, not very up-to-date bedroom, needs a makeover now should not be charging that much for old place with old furniture and fittings.and double booked my brothers room and asking him to vacate when second couple arrives so not happy.

traditional hotel, good location

Liked: This is an old hotel so it was as expected . We were at a wedding in Woburn and this was really convenient for the venue. the rooms and bathroom look as if they have had a recent refurb.
Disliked: there was no cold water in the sink in the bathroom only hot, luckily we had some bottled water in the car as it was a really hot night. We reported this as we left . The bathroom needs a really good clean.

Liked: Character property, well maintained, spotlessly clean and awesome staff. Highly recommend! Will definitely go there again.
Disliked: Nothing! Absolutely loved it. How often do you get to stay in a place that dates back to 1658

Great location and price.

Liked: Great location and free off road parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night and the room had blackout curtains. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer were provided in the room.
Disliked: There wasn't a shelf in the bathroom and there was a little bit of mould on a few tiles in the bathroom.

Very good budget accomodation in...

Liked: Good on-street parking (although the hotel has its own small carpark through a narrow access). Small friendly bar. Shower was powerful and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.
Disliked: Access to the room was via steep narrow stairs, but this is to be expected in a property of this vintage. Likewise, the room was a little small and the bathroom looked a little tired, although the function and cleanliness were perfectly fine.
