It’s a quiet base close enough to enjoy the area's concert venues, yet far enough to unwind after the encore.

Why Concert-goers love it

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking for a chill space to crash
Solo travelers chasing that bucket-list performance
Couples planning a romantic concert weekend

Budget-conscious music lovers looking for great value

Food and Drink Options

Start your day (even if it’s a slow one) with a continental breakfast included in your stay. While there’s no on-site restaurant, each room includes a microwave and coffee machine, and you're just a short drive from Watkins Glen’s growing list of eateries. Whether it’s late-night bites or a celebratory drink, local dining spots are within easy reach.

Nightlife Options

Longhouse Manor B&B itself is more about serenity than parties, but that’s part of the appeal. Still, you’re close enough to explore Watkins Glen’s bars, wine lounges, and live music venues—without having to sleep above them. Think of it as your backstage pass to the action, with a comfy retreat waiting afterward.

What People Say

Travelers rave about the friendly hosts, the clean and spacious rooms, and the beautiful hillside views. Many guests call it a “hidden gem” and love the relaxed atmosphere, perfect for decompressing after a high-energy concert. The outdoor pool and sun terrace get consistent praise as great spots to relax.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the decor feels a bit dated, and if you're planning on being out late, the quiet vibe may not suit those looking for an all-night party. A car is recommended, as it's a bit removed from the town center.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want to pair their live music experience with peaceful surroundings, free amenities, and a touch of charm, Longhouse Manor B&B is a smart, scenic choice.

Good

Liked: The breakfasts were very good. It was nice to have the kitchen/dining area but some paper products would be good to have available. The rooms were very comfortable. I wish the weather would have been nicer but we did take advantage of the pool table one rainy night. We also loved the location close to town but easy access to points north.
Disliked: It was a little unsettling to have the front door unlocked especially when there were only 2 couples at the time of our stay. We never felt unsafe but it was still something we talked about.

Not long enough!

Liked: This was our first B&B experience. We liked the breakfast as the cook brought out your individual served plate. Tea water was ready when I went out (thank goodness as most people forget us tea drinkers)
Disliked: Not sure what I expected however it was a little weird with this other group that was always hanging out in the common area living room. They also dominated the fire ring area outside. Our mattress was not the best. Feels like it needs flipped. I'll stay there again if I have the chance now that I know what to expect.
