I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Liked: The shower was hot and the central warmed the room.
Disliked: The front door was incredibly difficult to lock and open and the room smelt disgusting, I had to buy air freshners and spray. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the small carpark was full every evening when I returned meaning I had to park away from the room.

Exceptional

Liked: I was greeted by the landlord when I arrived, super friendly and I felt at ease as I was on my own. (Well I had my dog with me)The food was absolutely delicious 😋 I had the ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection 👌 Room was clean and tidy and a very comfy bedNice friendly staff all round, well done guys you made me feel at home, I will definitely stay with you again, and next time I might bring the hubby 😀

Liked: Just loved my room. So clean and comfortable. Had dogs with me. Staff could not have been friendlier towards them. (Could even work the radiators!) The small touches meant much - Elephant folded towels, folded toilet paper(!), plenty tea & coffee & toiletries.(Forgot to tell staff hairdryer not working. Room 116 - not a catastrophe!!)
Disliked: Wee bit disappointed with evening meal but would not stop us coming back and ordering something different.
