Liked: The space and location was ideal for peace and relaxation. Thoughtful accommodations with ease.

Bad

Disliked: They basically ditched us. Stay away.We booked a few weeks in advance and then on the day of booking, after 3 (out of 5) hours of driving, we got a message from the hotel saying they don't have a room for us. And then they disappeared. We contacted Customer Service, they tried to contact the property multiple times within the next hour, but no luck. Had to spend a lot of time and nerve cells and go to bed late because we had to figure out how not to sleep in a car/outside.

Loved it will be back

Liked: Lady at desk was super sweet...gave me a new coffeemaker and my choice of room on far end

This room satisfied our need...

Liked: Convenient stop in Gunnison, Colorado between Great Sand Dunes National Park and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and a final destination of Moab, Utah the next day. Modest price since most other rooms in town were more expensive.
Disliked: No breakfast. Only coffee available.

Very good

Liked: I loved that there was a kitchenette. The log decor was cute.
Disliked: It was a bit over priced and they didn't have my reservation in their system when I arrived. No USB ports.

Liked: Only coffee was offered.
Disliked: Tried to put a night light in the bathroom but the switched only worked when the overhead light was on so that defeated the purpose of a night light.

Great place to stay in...

Liked: Great location just outside of town and far enough away from the main highway that road noise wasn’t a problem. Room was a good size for the two double beds. Lots of room in the bathroom.
Disliked: Not really the property, but folks smoking at the tables just outside and between rooms takes away from stepping out of a room in the mountains to fresh air. A designated smoking area on the other side of the parking area— it really that far away—would be welcome to non-smokers.
