The Spotlight on London Marriott Hotel Regents Park

Peaceful Comfort Near Camden’s Music Scene

Modern, spacious, and tucked away in the leafy streets of Swiss Cottage, the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park offers a relaxed retreat just minutes from North London’s biggest music venues. With Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill nearby, and Swiss Cottage Tube Station just around the corner, the location balances convenience with calm. Rooms are generously sized, many feature balconies, and there’s even an indoor pool for a refreshing dip after a big night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

If you’re catching a show at venues in Camden or the wider North London area, you’ll love how close this hotel is to the action without being caught up in the noise. The Swiss Cottage Tube Station is a 2-minute walk away, making late-night travel easy. With a 12:00 check-out, you won’t need to rush your morning, and the peaceful setting is perfect for winding down after a loud night.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends will appreciate the spacious rooms with two double beds and balcony options. Solo travelers chasing a bucket-list gig can enjoy a safe, well-connected area. Couples will love the nearby restaurants and leafy strolls through Regent’s Park. Fans needing recovery time will find the quiet vibe ideal, and budget-conscious music lovers can share larger rooms to save.

Food and Drink Options

Carluccio’s, the on-site Italian restaurant, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with outdoor seating when the weather allows. There’s also a hotel bar offering snacks and drinks throughout the evening. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the nearby Camden area offers plenty of late-night eats within walking or delivery range. Breakfast is served late, ideal after a night out.

Nightlife Options

You’re just a short hop from Camden Town’s legendary music venues and bars, yet far enough to escape the noise when it’s time to sleep. Whether you’re up for craft brews, indie gigs, or laid-back lounges, you’re well-placed for a night out and a quiet return.

What People Say

Guests rave about the large rooms and balconies, the friendly staff, and the convenience of the nearby Tube station. Many appreciate the peaceful location away from central London’s hustle, while still being easily connected. The comfortable beds and cleanliness also earn consistent praise.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers note that Wi-Fi is only free in public areas, which can be a downside if you’re planning to stream or scroll from bed. A few mention that the hotel feels more business-like than boutique, but that’s often outweighed by the comfort and space.

The Bottom Line

A restful and spacious base in North London, London Marriott Hotel Regents Park is ideal for concert-goers who want easy access to the action with a peaceful place to recharge.

Over all, a good stay,...

Liked: Breakfast was good, plenty of choices, although the ready cooked options werent the best, customers could order egg items cook fresh. Staff were all very helpful, and professional. Good space in the room
Disliked: Not much from our experience this time, except maybe a little travelling information available in the room, or near the reception, as there seem to be alot of family staying for holidays

Warm Hospitality in a Great...

Liked: Our stay at the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park was marked by exceptional service and cleanliness. The staff at reception were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to help with a personal and caring approach. The hotel’s location is a major advantage - just a 5-minute walk from the Jubilee (Gray) Line, which connects quickly to central London and intersects with other key Underground lines. The surrounding neighborhood is charming, with a kiosk and a variety of restaurants and a food market within a 15-minute walk. A nearby park offering panoramic views of the city added a special touch to our visit. The hotel pool, open all day, was a great way to start or unwind after a busy day. Most impressively, the staff consistently went above and beyond to resolve any issues, even offering compensation when solutions weren’t possible. Their dedication left us with a very positive impression and a genuine desire to return in the future.
Disliked: Despite the excellent service, several aspects of the hotel’s facilities detracted from our comfort. The ground-floor restaurant focuses on seafood, which creates a strong fish odor that permeates the lobby - unpleasant for those who aren’t fans of fish. As I was traveling for work, I hoped for a quiet workspace, but aside from the lobby (which had both the odor and mosquitoes), there was no suitable area to work. Our room had a shower rather than a bathtub, which was excellent, but the shower and toilet showed yellowing, suggesting a lack of proper cleaning products. We were offered to switch rooms multiple times due to weak air conditioning, which the hotel attributed to a heatwave, though it seemed more likely due to outdated and dirty systems. The replacement rooms and provided fans didn’t resolve the issue. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, possibly due to our room’s location, and only after contacting reception were we given access to an alternative network. These facility shortcomings impacted our overall experience, though the staff’s efforts to assist were truly commendable.

Clean, well situated

Liked: The shower in my room was a hazard. It was really high because of the tub, but other than that it was nice.
Disliked: The bathroom

Relaxing stay

Liked: Friendly helpful reception and leisure centre staff. There was an issue with my bathroom (smell) but it was quickly sorted with a fast change of room. No quibbles. Comfy bed and fab shower and toiletries. Great air-conditioning. Very convenient location.
Disliked: Pool and changing rooms tired and dated. Lockers hard to use and changing rooms don't lead direct to the pool and involve steps.

Comfortable and quiet

Liked: The room was big, enough space for two couples and very comfortable beds. The ground floor was handsome and had many nooks and crannies. The food, though priced for this inner North London area, was good.
Disliked: £20 for three coffees was a bit steep. The brandy barely wet the bottom of the glass. One doesn't expect Spanish measures, but really! The beer menu was all foreign beers plus Guinness. A couple of British real ales would have helped.
