Superb
Liked: The room was good that I rebooked for another 2 nights. And yet...
Disliked: ...the prices for the next 2 nights were too high. The first night (Sunday) cost us £259. I didn't want to move to a different hotel so I took the room again for the price increased 50% for a Monday night (at £399/night) and 100% for a Tuesfay night (at £519/night).

Would stay again
Liked: Good modern hotel, walking distance to restaurants and bars etc.
Disliked: A bit pricey, but that's London. Thought it was closer to Lord's cricket ground than it was. About 2 miles so ended up in Uber rather than walking.

A standard clean room, not...
Liked: Room is sufficiently clean
Disliked: The room size was very small for a family of four and some of the basic amenities were lacking such as slippers, water bottles, tooth paste etc very basic complementary comfort items. Forgivable if I was staying at a holiday inn but not for Marriott. The access to the hotel is very difficult as there is no slip road to the entry door for your taxi or vehicle. You have to drop off at the main road in traffic with the welcome sound of honking horns from passing traffic with your luggage and there is no one from the staff to greet or help you at all. I opted to rent and park the car at the hotel, which is not cheap (fine since it is London), however I had horrible experience to enter and exit the basement parking which is secured by an automatic gate. The hotel staff directs you to press the dial button at garage entry and exit , which I did to receive no response. I was stranded at garage entry point for 10 mins till eventually a resident of marriot apartments behind me got impatient and opened the door for me. This continued to happen for a few times.

I hope i will never...
Liked: wi-fi was ok. there is an underground 5 mins away however you always need to change lines as the location is on bakerloo. there are better hotels that you don't need to change a lot.breakfast was good and the staff at the rest. helpful
Disliked: The staff was crazy. at time of booking , booking.com was showing there is an apple entertainment system in the room however the staff at the hotel told me there is no such feature and they don't need to have what's written on booking.com. Strange, because it is also saying there are two beds on booking.com so i may surprisingly be told that no because it is what booking.com says, we don't need to have two beds in a room. I was only expecting a kind treatment and apologize but the staff didn't know what it meant to be. plus, first night when i entered the room there were still hairs on the walls in the bathroom. i showed it to night manager. there is something interesting with the hotel. you tell them the problem. they just tell they would take care of it. no customer understanding, no smooth transitions. they should learn a lot from my country's real hotels
