We had a lovely stay...

Liked: Excellent location for vineyard and trip to seaside and Rye.
Disliked: Room did not have a fridge. Steam room in womens section of spa was not working

Very enjoyable stay and fit...

Liked: Breakfast, dinner and room all good. Staff were friendly and attentitive.
Disliked: My wife's breakfast was cold on one morning. Dinner specials board didn't change during our stay.

Expensive for what you got...

Liked: Nice view from bedroom of golf course. Balcony to sit out on. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Food good for fish/meat eaters but vegetarian choice very poor. Just had cheese board and chips for main course!
Disliked: Noisy in mornings. Not tranquil as hotel states. 0630 golf course maintenance including mowing right by bedroom. Construction traffic by first tee started at 0800. Cold bath tap totally jammed solid , would not turn, so could not shower as no cold water Ran bath with lovely hot water but had to use kettle from sink tap to lower temperature. Reception told next morning and changed rooms but on return that evening manager stated nothing wrong with cold tap at all which was not true. No gesture of goodwill or apology provided. This is 3 star hotel not 5 star as they put on road sign! £25.00 to use pool even though a guest. Threadbare/stained carpets. Paint peeling off wooden panels on bath. Needs refurbishment. Only one complimentary bottle of water despite being a double occupancy room. Air con unit as loud as a jet engine you could not have on during night time.
