Great location! Reasonable price.

Liked: We have stayed in these properties five times. We like that it is Very close to Volcano National Park. Quiet, peaceful area. Ample parking. Bathrooms remodeled nicely.
Disliked: Our other stays seemed to be is nicer, larger rooms. The room we stayed in was dated, both the room and bath room seemed smaller than stated, bed small and uncomfortable

Over priced for the experience

Liked: It’s a no staff location. Very organized process. Very near the nation park.
Disliked: The rooms are extremely hot. No thermostat. It took hours to cool the room down, past midnight even with the windows open. Very hard to sleep, bad mattress was also an issue.

Good location, lacked Aloha

Liked: The location of the property is in a great location for a visit to Volcano National Park. Room was clean and had a private bathroom.
Disliked: I didn’t realize it lacked an on-site host or staff. There are other properties within the area that have staff and breakfast as part of the stay that cost just a bit more a night and I wish I picked one of those inns.It would have been nicer to have a fan versus dehumidifier. All it did was contribute to a dry, stuffy room. Which is extra stuffy at night due to having to close the windows because of frog and cereal cat noises.
