Superb
Liked: Excellent prepared and presented food in restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Good secure parking. Walks and cycle paths within the woods.
Disliked: Not being able to stay longer.

Liked: The swimming pool was a real bonus.
Disliked: The room was very small and had no air-conditioning or means of cooling it. In addition the dinner menu was very limited.

Liked: Extremely friendly welcome from all staff. Excellent locally sourced food in restaurant. Set in beautiful countryside.
Disliked: We wish we could have stayed longer.

bike friendly room but request a non-red room
Liked: the pool was very nice and a welcoming respite from the sun
Disliked: The breakfast looked pretty scarce and I have to say that putting a plastic red curtain across a full west balcony window was a very poor idea. Since the room was not air-conditioned and had no fan you could not open the blind during any warm weather but you also couldnt see anything but red. It felt very much like being in a blade runner movie scene and made the room uncomfortable until the sun lowered and you could open the blind to see anything. but it was clean and comfortable
