Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando

Liked: Proximity to Hard Rock Live Venue and water taxi was nice.
Disliked: No availability of king size beds; toilet tissue holder was broken; positioning of light switches and trash cans inconvenient.

Disappointing, especially for disabled..

Liked: Convenience of boats to Universal parks (unless raining and stormy).Very good, but slow, room service.
Disliked: When boats to parks were not operating because of bad weather, buses were completely inadequate for disabled guests. The drop off points at the parks were not comfortably walkable for people with mobility problems. Most of the drivers were very unhappy about doing a few seconds of extra work lowering the ramp for disabled access and some even denied having a ramp. I was later told that all the buses had a ramp! One driver started driving off as I was walking to a seat (using wheeled walking aid) and I almost fell to the floor.Accessible room for disabled was a ridiculously long way from the elevators and much too narrow for disabled with mobility issues. Could hardly walk around with walking aid. Nowhere to put luggage for 3 people. Had to put one on the tv console in front of the tv so could not use it. No towels at pool on the one day we used it. Pool too shallow for swimming.

Liked: We loved staying here. The employees were wonderful and the hotel smelled SO good and was clean. It was pricey, yes, but the convenience that you get is worth it. I would love to go back someday.

Vacation was a great experience

Liked: Property had great rooms and clean sheets. Bathroom was clean. I loved the water taxi. The parks were close and the pool was great. Had everything you need on the property. Employees were great and inviting. Restaurant was nice. Easy to navigate the resort.
Disliked: I’d say the high prices and higher tips were a little bit surprising but the experience is worth it.
