Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Great beach location.

Liked: Great location near beach. Great security team at the pool, front door. Walking distance to Art Deco district, restaurants etc.
Disliked: They are undergoing renovations, and while we were notified, I was surprised to find the construction crew drilling and hammering directly above our room. The noise was unbearable and constant. While they did move us at our request, I don’t understand why guests would knowingly be subjected to that level of noise.

Pleasant, clean, friendly staff! Would...

Liked: I loved that this was the most family-oriented hotel I’ve stayed at in South Beach. I’ve been to plenty of hotels in the area, but this was the first one that truly made parents traveling with kids feel considered. They had a wonderful staff member who kept the kids engaged with fun poolside activities, which was such a thoughtful touch. There was even a movie night (8-22) that my child absolutely loved! The gentleman hosting the event was incredibly pleasant and went out of his way to make sure both kids and parents knew about all the free perks available. Overall, it made our stay feel effortless and enjoyable. I’d definitely come back here again whenever I’m traveling with my little one.
Disliked: Wish I didn’t have to walk all the way around just to get to the gym. But what the heck, I was going to workout anyway!

Very dissatisfied!

Disliked: There was heavy construction renovation going on at the facility which we were not made aware of prior to booking. And I was charged $109 a day to park my vehicle.

Luxurious hotel..Will definitely be back...

Disliked: The renovations were extremely disturbing. We couldn't rest or have a nap in the rooms during the day. We had to spend most of the day outside because the noise was unbearable.

Comfortable room, friendly staff but...

Liked: Beautiful property, restaurants and pool area. Rooms were clean and comfortable with European style bedding and sizable bathroom. Food at the restaurants was delicious and staff were friendly (especially breakfast and pool area staff)
Disliked: We booked our stay as a family birthday celebrations. We were informed few days after booking that there will be construction going on so future guests can enjoy updated hotel. No special accommodations were made for those staying at the hotel during renovations! Check-in was delayed, water in the pool was a murky and there was alarm noise going on which made the relaxing around the pool annoying at times. Keys stopped working as we were coming back from the beach and there was no staff at the beach entrance so we couldn’t get in until one of the guests opened the gate for us.
