Mediocre hotel at high end...
Liked: Nice rooms, spacious resort and good base for exploring Coronado
Disliked: Tired decor, pool area all concrete, has a 1970s beach club feel, food not good in the hotel and very expensive, better to drive in to Coronado to the amaxing restaurants there. Very expensive stay for what is provided

Pleasant stay but hotel more...
Liked: Bar area pleasant. Nice view from sea-view room.
Disliked: Lack of dining options given the hotels location. Cafe has very limited choice, could be better. There is no beach accessible.

Liked: Front desk clerk put our rooms right next to each other which was convenient.They had Happy Hour from 3-5 pm at the lobby bar on Saturday afternoon.
Disliked: Front desk clerk couldn't find my room reservation, just my daughter's. She went to the backroom to get the manager and it was found as Martin for the last name rather than Moore. My confirmations showed it typed as Moore, Martin & Gayle so I'm not sure why the hotel had it as Martin.Room 4101 had either HOT or COLD shower water but nothing in between. My daughter had to take a cold shower.Grout in the lobby/checkin title area was discolored dark so the overall upkeep of the hotel wasn't pristine.

Good place
Liked: Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and nice surroundings. Nice with the shuttle to Coronado.
Disliked: Parkering was unreasonably expensive - 47 dollars pr night is ridiculous. It’s a private area only for guests so no reason to charge so much.

Left wanting more & not...
Liked: The location is beautiful and the bed is upgraded but that’s about it about the room.
Disliked: The property is old and needs a major renovation. The lady that checked us in couldn’t care less and didn’t offer an upgrade or anything extra. I felt afraid to ask her any questions. They also need deeper and bigger pools. They also need an adult pool. There was so many kids and no room for crown ups.
