Not good value for money...

Liked: The hotel has a very nice location and is quite modern. The rooms are spacious and clean. The facilities are nice (e.g swimming pool). You get a few perks as a guest e.g. some allowance for food and drinks.
Disliked: I had booked a room with 'city view' and when I arrived I was told I need to upgrade / pay extra to get the view which I refused and pointed it was not whats on the website when you book. The hotel also charged me more than I needed too post my stay and have since then been unresponsive to solve my query which is not professional. The cleaning staff was also in the corridors from 7:30am or so and quite loud so didn't seem to take care of the 'Do not disturb ' sign on the doorsOverall wouldn't recommend as its very pricy for the level of service you get

Excellent staff, excellent location!

Liked: This hotel is very well located and within easy reach of Michigan Ave, Navy Pier and the River Walk. The staff were some of the best I have encountered in any hotel. They were proactive in their approach to engaging with us, responded promptly to any requests and displayed a genuine desire to ensure our stay was the best it could be.
Disliked: Small gripe…as with a lot of hotels nowadays, there is no lock on the bathroom door in the room (a sliding door) which my 1 year old loved opening and closing. It was a constant battle to keep him out of there!

Pleasant

Liked: Gym is great. Bed was comfy and lots of fresh towels.
Disliked: First room had musty/strange smell, was moved rooms, both were really loud with traffic noise. The blackout blinds aren’t black out at all. Nothing is included in room, only option is a 9.99 bottle of water. Beautiful summer but no outdoor area to sit and then not able to go thru the door to indoor pool. Paper cups to use for coffee. No follow up on issues when raised to management.

Disliked: Room-mediocre size..[no free bottles of water, shower water pressure was inadequate and super hot, room had a smell, peanuts on floor when 1st entered, no microwave in rooms]No hot tub or jacuzzi

Liked: everything was perfect, they gave us discounts for parking and breakfast, it always adds up to the experience. ETA resto has very good options we liked it, the location is perfect.
