Was told that I would get a text when the room was available, waiting 2 hours with no communication. Finally went inside and the girl said that they were too busy to let us know room was available. lol no thanks!

Disliked: Customer service.

Disappointing - could have stayed...

Liked: The location was fine as it is positioned close to downtown and off of the main highway but that is where the positives pretty much end
Disliked: There was no food option at all on property during the day. You had to go off property in order to eat as their restaurant doesn't open until dinner and all they have is a coffee shop . BIZARRE.. I also booked this Hotel because they claimed to have a Spa but they do not .. They have signs directing you to a Spa but it leads to nowhere and when I asked they said they didn't have one.. The room was poorly positioned with people outside at the pool being loud from morning to night that you could hear plain as day through the closed window.. The young blonde receptionist that worked all three days we were there was rude and grouchy each day to deal with ... She directed us to the changing area in the basement since our room wasn't ready until almost 4pm but when we got all the way down there we discovered that you had to have a room card to access the indoor pool which leads to the shower facilities so back up we had to go to the front desk - Why she didn't advise that in the first place is beyond me but she was rude and cavalier about it when we had to come all the way back up (its a hike for sure) to get one. We advised them at check in that we would be attending a concert that afternoon and that if the room was not ready before 3pm (it wasn't ready until 330) that we would have to check in when we got back late that night. At 1030pm we received a text that if we did not tell them if we were coming back that they would release our room! What??! This hotel is just very backward and simplistic and seems to pretty much be run on auto pilot with no real professionalism .. Definitely worthy not of the title of "Resort or Lodge" .. More like a glorified motel with a fresh lobby remodel ..

Liked: When you walked in it was super clean and smelled of freshly baked cookies. The pools and hot tubs were great.

Liked: Room was on a floor with no stairs. Clean. Nice beds. Staff excellent.
Disliked: Cost of diet coke at front desk $8 outrageous. Elsewhere $1.99. Room had extremely strong smell of cleaning products. Noisy AC unit. Would like a magnifying mirror in bathroom.
