Overall dissatisfied with our stay.
Liked: Bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
Disliked: The breakfast was a joke. The ac unit was extremely loud so the tv had to be turned way up to hear it. I spent over $500.00 for two nights which was way too much for no breakfast and obnoxiously loud air conditioning.

Loved Our Stay!
Liked: We really enjoyed our three night stay in a fabulous suite with a view of the lake! The balcony was large and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the view of the lake! The water was warm enough and took several swims from the lodge. We also liked being out of Sandpoint but within 5 minute striking distance. Would stay here again for sure!
Disliked: The lodge is located next to a bridge that crosses the lake and is noisy. Not a huge problem, but still there. The hotel could use a restaurant and bar because there is nothing in walking distance.

Good
Liked: We made late reservations and got a very nice, comfy room with a large kitchen. However, there is no oven or stove. The deck was the highlight with great views of The Long Bridge into Sandpoint, and we saw the most beautiful sunsets. The furniture and bed were super comfy. This is a large one bedroom apartment.
Disliked: There is no breakfast. Their site states "continental", but it's only Costco muffins and biscotti. Also some small apples. The room had a full kitchen minus a stove/oven. We were unable to cook any of our own meals. There's a gas fireplace in the room and we could see the pilot light burning, but perhaps it has a bad thermostat. The gal at the front desk offered to come up and "wiggle" something to try and get it working...we didn't think that was the proper answer to the situation, and we declined the offer. Also, the deadbolt didn't latch. We lifted up on the door a little and got it started, but it needs to be properly installed in order to be used.We paid $500 per night.

The Lodge was an okay...
Liked: Great location on the lake, although kind of removed from Sandpoint town
Disliked: Very outdated, musty carpets, dark and drab… it really could be a. great place with even minor inexpensive improvements
