Very good

Magical scottish country house.

Liked: 300 years old cottage in the middle of the woods. Magical place to go back in time. Very clean and spacious room. Fully equiped. Very quiet. Staff was super nice. Parking available free of charge.
Disliked: No lift available. But I can understand.

It was lovely!

Liked: Beautiful grounds, wonderful food and excellent staff.Bathroom is updated and very nice.
Disliked: Cottage is a little dated. Would have liked a microwave or stovetop.

Great Family stay.

Liked: Great stay for families, beautiful location. Will suggest the cottages , they are cosy and spacious for a young family. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Priceworthy stay and experience

Liked: It’s beautiful, you feel luxurious just existing in this beautiful house or garden. And the staff was very nice as well, and could tell you a little about the history of the house which was exciting! The breakfast was really good. They had a lot of different options which is appreciated!
Disliked: The coffee in the morning was very weak, even though I asked for stronger coffee. I recommend the tea instead.

Inverness Idyll

Liked: Room 7. lovely location and handy for our onwards travel. we were given an upgrade of a suite. tea and coffee choices were lovely, with fresh coffee bags. great shower. robes in the wardrobe (although we didn't use them) lovely comfy bed.
Disliked: it was a tired room. old furnishings, although in keeping, were very worn, especially the furniture in the little sittingroom. lots of creaking floors as you'd expect from an old building. upstairs guests were walking around in the wee small hours.. lots of light coming in from under and around the door all night.

Disliked: Everything was great.You would probably need a car to get around as the hotel is located outside the city.
