Comfortable and friendly

Liked: Delicious food - both dinners and breakfasts. The staff were excellent. We also liked the comfort of two public sitting rooms.
Disliked: Nothing

Good

Liked: The people at the reception on both days (one named Jaro, cannot recall the second name) were extremely warm and welcoming. The cottage was located in a beautiful spot and was very comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast room staff had a cold attitude and were only attending to few tables meanwhile we had to keep asking for service. Lights in stairway and upstairs room were not working. Apart from this the cottage was very comfortable.

Disliked: There was no electric shaving point in the bathroom.

Liked: I liked welcoming, Grounds, room was amazing. Bed is huge. Very nice bathroom. Fridge in the room with some individual milk and water was great thought.
Disliked: Restaurant staff. I arrived first thing for breakfast and nobody was there. Waiting for a bit and decided to pack my stuff in the room and come back later i came back sat at the table. There were other two couples. I wasn't acknowledged. Then when i had 10 mins to leave the waitress asked if im alone and i can move to the smaller table even though there were plenty of spaces. Then she asked what would i like i replied just a coffee. She did bring it to me and offered some toast. Honestly i felt humiliated only because i had to move the table and then when everyone was eating eggs Benedict etc i had to eat toast. I would not complain if it was busy, but when only 5 guests in the restaurant i hoped that the service was very poor. No other complaints at all. Great place but service should be better especially on the weekday.

Liked: Gardens, Staff,Common fire area, updated bathroom and heated floor.
Disliked: Coffee at breakfast Horrible. Breakfast horrible, was expecting period furniture and the furniture was Mia matched and did not look right, especially the chairs by the window, made the room uncomfortable, the blanket over the lounge couch made the room feel dirty. The curtains need dusting. The carpet everywhere in room and common areas and stairs needs updating and the checkin desk was not welcoming looking.
