Lovely hotel in a marvellous...

Liked: A fabulous location, good rooms, great food, excellent views all with a professional and friendly team looking after us. It was a great stay. We loved it. My wife didn’t want to leave!

Not worth the money

Liked: The paint on bedroom doors and skirting were all chipped and scored , toilets down stairs at reception were disgusting, loo roll , cups , paper dirty floors. Fence out side bar area was very old and falling to bits ,I learned after leaning on it the slates fell off , as did all the fencing on stair area lucky my husband was there to catch me as I used rail to go down to car park and it fell apart rotten wood. Definitely not worth 200 a night room only . The veiw was only good thing. Big grease stains in lamp shade in dinning area , dirty food marked seating.

Liked: The hotel is by the lake, very nice to have breakfast while looking at the beautiful lake view.

Exceptional

Liked: This was a wee gem of a hotel, and we very much hope it won’t be long before we can return. It was perfect for swimming in Loch Ness and walking in the hill paths behind the hotel. Boat trips on Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and Inverness are all within easy reach - the one hour boat trip actually leaves from the harbour in front of the hotel. The staff were excellent, as was the food and drink which we enjoyed as we watched the sun either rise or set over Loch Ness.
