Liked: Location, breakfast was eccellent (we are veggies), staff were great too
Disliked: The room we were in had skylights ehich didnt have any blinds on so a little inconvenient with kids struggling to sleep but that aside everything was spot on

Liked: Location was lovely at some point I’m sure this was a four star, definitely lost its way.
Disliked: Photos look incredible this combine with location made this what i thought was the perfect choice. Upon arrival we were went to reception and this was the first red flag, it was old, tiered how ever the receptionist was lovely excellent service. Headed up stairs to my room up very tired well used carpet, second red flag. Into the room again well used in need of some decoration. Desperately needing a shower after a long day, jumped in and would have probably had a more water pressure from the tap. Out of the shower if you can call it that to a dreadful noise from what turned out to be one of the bar cellars. Heading off to reception to be told that shouldn’t be an issue through the night, well yep it really was. The evening meal was ok but no sea bass this was 6pm on a Friday evening, not great. We then enquired if there was some where we could dry a couple of pairs on motorcycle gloves as the radiators were not on it the room “erm probably not but you can go ask the owner if you dare she’s over there” I was woken repeatedly by the dreadful noise throughout the night. Got up at 6 wanting to speak to reception about these issues but it was closed. This was the final straw wasn’t prepared to wait around any longer so left.
