A really valuable find as...

Liked: Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Pool was excellent.
Disliked: Admin a bit over-zealous with eMails on check-in, payment etc. coming almost every day. Reception and dining areas could do with a bit of a make-over.

Pleasant hotel with good service.

Liked: The service in the restaurant was excellent and the young waitresses were a credit to the hotel.The cafe/bar was open most of the time which was great.Our room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The spa/swimming pool were a little tired/dated and the family swimming times were quite restricted.The restaurant was slightly over priced with a steak costing £30.For this reason we ate out on our second night.

Liked: The breakfast was very tasty.
Disliked: No restaurant during the week. The sauna and steam were not at the proper temperature ( not hot enough)

Excellent spa/boutique hotel on working...

Liked: Very good spa facilities for small rural accommodation.
Disliked: Limited places to eat out nearby. Restaurant at hotel good, but need to book well in advance.

Mixed Bag

Liked: Pros -Food was stunning, beat brekky we've ever hadEntertainment was good although could have gone on another hour or so.Jacuzzi was nice Room lovely and spacious with comfortable bed.
Disliked: Cons -Check in was a complete nightmare! Said on booking check in from 00:00 which is misleading in itself but to make people actually check in at 4pm is scandalous and then to check out at 10am! We sat round for about 2 hours waiting for our room to be ready and couldn't even use the spa until later on, lucky we could use it as all as you need to book which also needs to be highlighted somewhere.Cold showers in the room before going for food as they'd been really busy. Not really a great excuse and should be sorted.Pool was too cold for a health club in our opinion.

Wonderful weekend at great place

Liked: Evening meal & breakfast were excellent, superb food & served, staff lovely and friendly.I came for my Hen party, May 2019. Wanted to bring my husband to stay for a romantic weekend. We used most of the facilities.
Disliked: Only little thing was in room 12, edge of bath was coming away and the rubber sealant was hanging.
