Liked: Looked clean and tidy
Disliked: We were there for 2 nights in July and the weather was very warm. The property is in the middle of a working cattle farm. No staff onsite at night. Nice views but comes at a price of unbearable cowdung manure smell. The room we stayed was extremely hot with no temperature control. The room has 2 skylights which when opened brought in sickening dung putrefying smell. Couldn’t sleep both nights. Was given fan which didn’t do much with the hot air inside. Asked for a change in room next day and none was available. The room temperature was unbearable and the bathroom was even worse in terms of the heat. Was worried throughout about becoming unwell from heat inside the room. Will avoid at any costs unless the room has air conditioning. Did pass this comment to the front desk at checkout.

Very fine hotel, good food

Liked: Warm welcome, very clean room with good beds. There was an air fan which we used to cool the room. Very fine beds. Small but clean bathroom. Diner was good. Small portions(!) , but tasty. Free and safe parking.

Disliked: Spa could do with a little bit of TLC and an uplift. At breakfast I feel that the toast with the full Breakfast should come out with the meal and not have to do yourself.

Very pleasant, wonderful location.

Liked: Nice location, friendly staff, did not use gym or swimming pool although a lot of locals proabably do. Breakfast was okay, not so much choice- like most hotels do: packets with cereal, and not any vegan options ( plant based butter and yoghurt, maybe som fresh fruits. The usual supermarket bread as we think something small like having bread from a local baker would have added so much more quality to it all. But staff was very sweet and welcoming.
Disliked: Breakfast options.
