Understanding ones needs.

Liked: Staff were welcoming, friendly too The decor was light and interesting.I did love the breakfast and the way it was presented. One of the best I've had. Well done.
Disliked: I was slightly disappointed with the evening dining. My husband and l had travelled all day , we fancied something light so was hoping to find soup on the menu but there wasn't. I should have asked as during our main meal my husband felt un well so he had to leave it.I can't fault their kindness towards my husband, their understanding of the matter and going out of their way to help him. . They were wonderful. They wanted to bring him something to eat but all he wanted was time to settle and a cup of tea so a variety of biscuits were brought and a jug of cold water. Their assurance that we could call on them anytime if needed.

A fantastic, relaxing place to...

Liked: The location is superb, although there is a steep, winding mountain road to get to it, just wide enough for one car, with a few passing places. As a disabled person I could park right outside the hotel entrance. There is also a lift. Wonderful dining room. The staff are do genuinely nice, friendly and helpful. My room and en-suite was excellent. I am a repeat visitor.
Disliked: Leaving!

Very good

Liked: Excellent Location
Disliked: Room had tired decor. Extremely hot room had to have widows and fan on at all times . With windows being open there was a lot of noise from some where. Sounded like metal barrels being moved.

Embarrassingly bad with zero help...

Liked: Beautiful location.
Disliked: No water pressure so the shower is a trickle, what’s worse was the plug for the bath looked like it had been chewed by a dog and doesn’t hold water. After a conversation with the manager no offer of another room or any sort fix was initiated or even offered. Seems this wasn’t the first time someone had complained. Surely a shower is basic necessities?? There were many complaints from various tables dining in the evening and our own was also riddled with flaws. It was embarrassingly bad. Be aware.

Great place for a luxury...

Liked: Gorgeous place, very comfortable and relaxing. Rural location (expect sheep on the approach road, and typical farm smells outside!). Very easy access to S Wales motorways. The food in the restaurant was outstanding.

Disappointed stay - staff friendly...

Liked: Views
Disliked: Hate staying in rooms 3 or 4. I paid 140.00 for probably the worst part of the hotel. Will never stay again if I’m in this corridor. Strong smell of sewerage, came through window
