Liked: Great location for New Quay and the surrounding area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything we needed.

Lovely bedrooms and a great...

Liked: Lovely breakfast and the staff went out of their way to provide gluten and dairy free options even though I failed to mention it before arrival. The arrival of a coffee/ tea machine on the second morning was a disappointment. My friend and I prefer the human touch and my friend struggled to use the machine. The bedrooms were clean, smelt fresh, and were spacious. Although on a main road, neither of us were bothered by the noise. Blackout blinds on the windows a good touch. The staff were very warm, friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: As the premises had a 4 star rating, our expectations were high. However, on arrival the exterior of the hotel was disappointing. A letter was missing from the name across the building and it looked scruffy and a bit unloved. The entrance hall looked dated and a bit bleak. Thankfully the rooms were very pleasant. The bar area was not to our taste as it had a large TV screen and the music one night coming from it was meant for a younger audience. The bar and restaurant furniture was not particularly comfortable and could do with an update. Overall we found the premises underwhelming.

Liked: We loved everything about the property, it was easy to find, spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable, and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, all the food was absolutely delicious, we couldn’t fault anything!We would definitely recommend this lovely family run B&B to everyone :)

It was just about ok...

Liked: Clean and in good geographical location.
Disliked: Outside was bland and unattractive and rear of property was even worse. Restaurant part reminded me of a canteen type sitting area. Little imagination use and unattractive.

Liked: We stayed for one night while house hunting in the area. Our room and bathroom were both spacious and clean and the breakfast was very good. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was excellent, full of flavour, generous portions and reasonably priced.It looks like a family run business and the service we recieved was outstanding. An excellent, clean, well run hotel that serves very good food. I would definately stay here again.
