A quintessential English seaside hotel

Liked: A quintessential English seaside hotel. Still quite quirky, bedroom could do with a bit of an upgrade but was certainly comfortable . Plenty of hot water and great views from the balcony outside our room. We were particularly impressed with the evening meal which with the half board rate was very reasonably priced.All the staff were particularly helpful and efficient.

Liked: Breakfast was delicious
Disliked: It was all very dated. The rooms old fashioned, carpets old and need updating. Old bath and stained toilet. Very old fashioned furniture and beds. No cold water it ran warm. There was hairs in the bath on arrival. It really needs bringing into the 20th century.

Lovely sea views with balcony....

Liked: Lovely sea view, big windows with patio doors whichled to a shared balcony.
Disliked: The room was cold when we arrived. The radiator did not work.Went to reception to ask for an electric heater. This was providedwarmed up the room. But radiator could not be fixed for the durationof our stay.

A wonderful stay, a beautiful...

Liked: The location is exceptional ! Lovely staff! We love the rooms on the balcony as we love older buildings, so we always book those . The only thing we would like is if there were bigger beds in these rooms, as my husband is very tall! The double beds are too small! But other than that, an amazing hotel for our Easter break x
Disliked: Just the bed , not big enough!
