Comfortable stay in a great...

Liked: Full English breakfast was excellent. Bed and room very comfortable with windows that open for fresh air which is something quite rare in many hotels. The staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. Thanks for a comfortable stay.
Disliked: There is nothing we didn't like although probably a lick of paint in the bedroom and bathroom would be good. There is a bit of traffic noise but we accept it because of the location and a small hotel car park. For the continental breakfast I would recommend adding some cheese and fruit and natural yoghurt to the menu for a true continental breakfast.

Ideal for a long weekend...

Liked: Clean and comfortable rooms in a semi rural location on the edge of Derby, close to the A38 and a fifteen minute drive from the town centre. An excellent bar and restaurant. Continental breakfast, with cooked breakfast options at the weekend. Staff are friendly and helpful. An excellent carvery on a Sunday.
Disliked: Can occasionally be a little noisy late on a Saturday as it is also hosts parties.
