Liked: Staff were nice hotel nice inside, but rooms in need of upgrade. Could do with plug sockets by the beds and the big mirror moving onto the wall by the plugs from the wardrobe door.

Liked: The experience of booking, arrival etc was excellent - staff were very helpful - would recommend
Disliked: Breakfast was at 8 am -too late for us and asked if we could go down early and help ourselves to cereal and toast - this was reluctantly allowed - think communication problem!

Disliked: Very worn and old and not the cleanest. Looked clean at a glance but sitting in bath very dirty under tap (black) hairs on sides of bath and sealant and grout was black .

Liked: Staff all genuinely helpful and friendly.For all my criticisms below, it looks like work is being carried out on adjacent rooms so hopefully they are being spruced up. Plenty of choice at the included continental breakfast.
Disliked: Room very tired. Chipped paintwork on wooden surfaces including the vanity table. Bed too bouncy and mattress not supportive , although I appreciate this is subjective.Shower tray very slippery and IMO dangerous. Old yellowing heater in bathroom not working (might have been switched off at the mains but couldn't reach to that high to find out).

Idea place for a stopover...

Liked: Unfortunately the pastries weren’t very fresh ? But there were plenty of cereals and toast on offer, so to have continental breakfast included in price was good
Disliked: The croissant

Clean and good location

Disliked: Written on behalf of my parents who stayed here when visiting us.No iron in the room even to when called them a day before they said there would be, also no hair dryer.In the room next door a fight was happening between people, tried to call reception numerous times and no one answered. Ended up calling the police to disperse the fight.

Disliked: Noise from people leaving the bar at night
