Noisy place

Liked: The best part about this property is it is within a few blocks from the beach. The bed was comfortable. The coffee maker worked and the mini fridge too. The value was fair.
Disliked: The person checking in was not very friendly or welcoming, almost seemed annoyed to have to work. The person cleaning the room expressed that the room was not supposed to rented and so they were finishing up cleaning it. The bathtub had some rust in the jets for the jacuzzi tube-I did not even try to get it to work.The room was next to a loud ice maker so all night the compressor was running the hotel is been 2 busy streets so there was so much noise between pedestrians walking by and the screeching of tires and humans- it was a terrible place to try to sleep and I am a heavy sleeper usually. The door has frosted glass on the top so the bright light from outside shines bright all night. I recommend changing that door in room 14 and adding some kind of noise cancelling installation.

Liked: While the property was as expected, my late check-in was a bit challenging. Quite some time, until somebody showed up.Asking about storing my luggage the last day or whether I could keep my car a little longer at the paid parking was answered with "you can put it under the stairway but we don't take responsibility" and "no".

Delightful stay in the middle...

Liked: I was nervous going into this trip because several reviews were pretty bad. My expectations were quite exceeded! My fiance and I had the best time. The room is super clean and well-equipt. Sure there are some scuffs but it’s a no-frills inn, so I’m not sure what people are expecting. For the price, the location is unbeatable. You can walk to pretty much everything. And if you can’t walk, there’s a free weekend trolley service with a stop right nearby. I would 100% stay here again.
Disliked: Because of the great location, there are quite a few people walking to and from the bars late at night talking outside. But truthfully, I’d rather have that than be far away from the action. And again, for the price of a room, it’s a steal.
