Lisle Combe

Excellent stay

Liked: Excellent breakfast, something to look forward to every morning. The room was lovely and spacious, with a large private bathroom and beautiful garden view. The property felt very private and lovely to explore the gardens, and the cove nearby. A great location, couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore from. Hosts were helpful and kind, and really cared about their guests and home.

Friendly and comfortable with a...

Liked: This is a lovely old manor house full of antiques and interesting art. The grounds and the view are beautiful and the owners are very kind and friendly. There is a wide choice of things for breakfast including good options for vegetarians. The beds were comfortable and the room very spacious.
Disliked: We liked the character of Lisle Combe, but don't come here if you want smart decor and state of the art plumbing. The limited wifi is a bit of a nuisance.

Liked: Oozes charm and character with fabulous furniture and paintings giving a true stately home feel
Disliked: a little run down but that would not put us off staying here again, in fact, we would were we to go to the Isle of Wight again.

Wonderful for a few quiet...

Liked: Almost like staying in a stately home. Very quiet, lovely extensive grounds to walk in, access to the beach, quiet area out of the business of the town. Comfortable and spacious room, lovely breakfast, friendly family run b&b. Easy Access to all parts of the island.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The property was an amazing old country house. The breakfast was incredible with fantastic choice on offer. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we had great stay!
