Great stay in the city...

Liked: The hotel is ideally located near the Carmo convent ,close to many subway stations and in the heart of the city center. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with tons of options. The beds are very comfy and the rooms have all the equipment needed: nice showers, hair dryers, bathrobes, slippers, desks, good wifi, etc.
Disliked: The shower handle was a bit broken and the wood was missing on some part of the bathroom door. Small details, I just expect everything perfect in a 4 star hotel. The room lacked a bit of light as we had one window and no balcony.

A warm and welcoming hotel...

Liked: The room was very good: Pillows and bed were comfortable. Bathroom facilities were superb. The terry cloth bathrobes and slippers provided really put it over the top. The facilities exceeded my expectations. Breakfast selection was amazing and the two dinners we ate in the restaurant were great. The desk staff went above and beyond to assist us in getting access to research libraries. Such a great experience on our first visit to Lisbon.
Disliked: Because we were two people in the room with only one baggage stand it meant that one suitcase was always on the floor.

Ideal setting

Liked: Great location. Lovely food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very quiet considering its very central location. Got upgraded to a beautiful room with sea view.
